Exporting the configuration

The configuration of a repository may be exported to a file. Exporting the configuration is useful for several purposes:

The configuration is exported to several XML files that are contained in a compressed archive (.zip) file. The configuration contains the items listed in Importing a configuration.

To export the repository views, see Exporting views.

To export the current configuration:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise Server Administration Console, in the Repositories group, click the name of the repository that you want to export. The repository overview page appears.
  2. In the app bar, click EXPORT. The EXPORT FILE PATH dialog box appears.
  3. Specify a path on the server or click the Browse icon , select the destination folder, and then click EXPORT. A background task is started and you can continue working.
  4. When the process has completed, a confirmation dialog box appears. Click OK.
